Habilitation Services
Habilitation services help people with disabilities learn and build skills so they can live more independently and improve their quality of life.
We visit people in their homes to make it easier and more comfortable for them. We focus on teaching skills they want or need to learn, like:
-
Cooking, cleaning, or managing money.
-
Taking care of themselves, like getting dressed or bathing.
-
Talking to others or making friends.
-
Getting around safely in the community or using transportation.
-
Creating healthy habits and routines.
We work with each person to create a plan that fits their needs and goals, helping them gain confidence and independence in their daily life.

Best Friends
Supporting independence and growth
At the heart of our Best Friends program is a commitment to helping your loved one thrive. Each participant is paired with a caring, trained staff member who develops skill-building activities tailored to their unique strengths and needs. Together, we create a personalized plan that promotes independence and growth, while supporting your family's goals.Through our program, youth and adults learn essential life skills, such as feeding themselves, maintaining personal hygiene, and improving communication. We provide the guidance and supervision needed to help them succeed in these areas.
Community is a key focus of the Best Friends program as well. Participants enjoy regular outings—whether it’s attending school, visiting the zoo, or socializing with peers—ensuring that they not only learn, but also build lasting friendships and experience the world around them.
