Fiscal Responsibility

Youth Care & Beyond believes strongly in financial responsibility and transparency earning a GOLD SEAL on GuideStar Charity Navigator.

In the last fiscal year, 89% of all expenditures were spent on services for individuals served. Percentages are based on the formula set forth by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance, whose standard recommends at least 65% of an organization’s total expenses be spent on program activities.

We’ll use every penny to provide the programs, opportunities, and experiences to help people with intellectual disabilities become independent, participate in life opportunities and achieve their dreams.

Youth Care and Beyond is a GuideStar Gold Participant.

Youth Care & Beyond Wish List

If you rather give items we need, we have provided a wish list on Amazon for items we frequently need.  We appreciate all help and assistance.

I feel blessed compared to the kids I serve. I had parents, teachers, neighbors and adults who took the time to help me prepare for a career, give advice and just hang out with. Our kids don’t have that. They have lots of bad examples, poor role models to have healthy connections. We have started a mentoring program to bring back positive and health social experiences that is necessary for good development.

Consider becoming a mentor to a young person today. As little as 2 hours a month adds volumes to their lives. Youth Care & Beyond is a partner with Mentoring.Org, the National Mentoring Partnership (MENTOR) is the unifying champion for expanding quality youth mentoring relationships in the United States.
